Fred Winn and Jamie Wallace raced side by side for the lead at the start of the race with Matt Kocourek and Dale Prunty close behind. Wallace cleared Winn for the lead on lap four as Kocourek went to work on Winn for second while David Prunty entered the top five. With Winn caught on the outside, Kocourek raced into second while Dale Prunty, David Prunty, and Mike Strupp all were able to get by while Wallace continued to set the pace. David Prunty and Strupp threaded their way forward, taking over third and fourth place respectively by lap 19 as the caution flag flew for a spin by Pete Wiedmeyer. Wallace chose the outside lane for the restart and continued to lead on the restart as Strupp was able to get around David Prunty for third while Dennis Prunty advanced into fifth. At the halfway mark, Wallace led over Kocourek and Strupp, while David, Dennis, and Dale Prunty ran in fourth, fifth, and sixth place, just ahead of Lowell Bennett. Strupp suffered a setback a few laps later when he appeared to scuff the wall on the backstretch while working the high side and fell back several positions, while Kocourek continued to make runs on the inside on Wallace for the lead. Wallace remained strong on the high side and maintained the lead as David Prunty caught and passed Kocourek for second on lap 47. Two laps later, Dennis Prunty also advanced forward, taking third place from Kocourek while Wallace remained out front. As David Prunty began to track down Wallace for the top spot, the best battle on the speedway was between Dennis Prunty and Kocourek for the third spot. Contact between the cars on lap 51 sent both spinning around in tandem exiting turn four to produce the second caution flag of the race.

Wallace again chose the outside for the restart, leaving David Prunty the inside groove as racing resumed. Prunty and Wallace raced hard for the lead entering turn one with both drivers remaining on the throttle through turn two before Prunty was able to get the advantage on the backstretch to take the lead. As Prunty and Wallace battled for the lead, Bennett worked his way into third place and Strupp rebounded his way into fourth place by lap 55. Wallace was unable to catch Prunty in the closing laps and the defending track champion drove to the victory, leaving Wallace to settle for second. Bennett took the checkered flag in third place while Strupp and Dale Prunty rounded out the top five. Al Schill finished sixth with Nick Schumacher crossing the stripe in seventh, ahead of Fred Winn, Mike Egan and Brad Dahmer.

Scott Schoeni was the winner of the 20-lap late model semi-feature over Jim Jesoshek and Ron Ragan. John Pellmann finished fourth and Kelsey Bauer was fifth. Brad Dahmer was the winner of the late model fast dash and Lowell Bennett was the fastest qualifier at 11.434
seconds.

15-year old Trevor Dassow scored his first career feature win in the 35-lap limited late model main event as he took the win over Rob Braun.

Dassow charged into the lead at the start as David McCardle and Rob Braun slotted into second and third with Steve Apel in their tracks in fourth place. With Dassow extending his lead, Jon Reynolds Jr. tracked down the top five and attempted to advance forward but slid high in turns three and four, dropping back momentarily as Pat McIntee raced by and into fifth. Braun got his car hooked up and he went to work on
McCardle for second, taking the position on lap 19. Dassow remained strong out front and began to encounter lapped traffic with Braun beginning to close. Braun caught the leader in the final laps and was right on Dassow’s bumper by lap 30 as Reynolds worked his way back into the top five, behind Steve Apel and McCardle. Dassow led the white flag lap with Braun directly on his tailpipe and as the leaders entered turn three, a crash between Jake Vanoskey and Chris Blawat partially blocked the front straightaway. Although Dassow and Braun raced to the finish line and both drivers went to victory lane, per track rules, when a caution flag appears on the final lap, the event is scored using the last completed lap and Dassow was declared the winner. Braun was credited with second place while Steve Apel, David McCardle, and Jon Reynolds Jr. rounded out the top five.

Rob Braun took top honors in the limited late model fast dash and Jon Reynolds Jr. topped qualifying with a lap of 12.315 seconds.

Mike Graczkowski ended Jeff Holtz’s victory streak at three as he held off Holtz to take the checkered flag first in the 30-lap Midwest Sportsman feature.

Dan Church Jr. led the opening laps over Andy Haver and Mike Borchardt but his time at the front was short lived as fluid leaking from his car brought out the first caution flag on lap eight, moving Haver into the lead over Borchardt, Adam Berge, and Graczkowski. Borchardt timed the restart perfectly and he charged by Haver for the lead while Graczkowski also worked his way around Haver for second. On the next circuit, Haver spun to the infield, allowing Al Stippich and Jeff Holtz to pass by and enter the top five as the race remained under green. Graczkowski tracked down Borchardt and took the lead on lap 13 as Holtz marched forward, getting around Stippich for third four laps later. Graczkowski found himself in lapped traffic on lap 17 as Holtz began to pressure Borchardt for second. With six laps to go, Holtz took the second spot from Borchardt as Graczkowski enjoyed a moderate lead. Graczkowski was never headed in the final laps and he drove to the victory with Holtz finishing second. Borchardt crossed the finish line in third place and Stippich made his series debut a successful one with a fourth place finish. Kenny Joosten took the checkered flag in fifth.

Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer Gilbert Brown paid a visit to the Slinger high-banks and made his first trip a successful one with a win in the ten-lap celebrity race over WBWI’s “Fuzz” Martin and Dave Kallmann of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. WTMJ radio’s Bill Michaels gave Brown a run for his money as he made a valiant effort for the lead in the high groove on the final lap before spinning around exiting turn two, leaving him with a fourth place result. Scott Lopez from WTKM finished fifth and WTMJ-TV sports anchor Lance Allan rounded out the field after
looping around in turn two on the first lap.

While Aaron Cain won another 18-lap Thunderstock feature, he had to work harder for it this week, making the winning pass on the final lap.

Jim Bentzler led the race early on as Ryan Farrell tried to track him down from second place. Farrell caught Bentzler and took command on lap nine just before the caution flag waved when Stephanie Losiniecki spun on the backstretch after working her way into third. Farrell and Bentzler renewed their battle for the lead as racing resumed while Aaron Cain charged into third place. The side by side battle between Farrell and Bentzler kept Cain boxed in behind them until the closing laps when he was first able to work his way around Bentzler before pulling up to Farrell to challenge for the lead on the final lap. On the white flag lap, Cain was able to make the move for the lead on the inside and took the victory over Farrell and Bentzler. Al Stippich finished fourth while Jesse Knutson finished fifth. Cain was also the fastest qualifier at 13.618 seconds.

Ken Schraufnagel was the winner of the 18-lap Slinger Bees feature, taking the checkered flag ahead of early leader Tom Berens. Erik Long finished third while Derek Hoarig and Brandon Tackes rounded out the top five finishers. Schraufnagel was also the fastest qualifier in the division, lapping the speedway in 15.883 seconds. Jason Johnson and Rob Fletcher each won a Speedway Guest Car race and C.J. Corallini won the Spectator Eliminator event. Shane Becker topped a wild nine-car Figure 8 race.
