Scott Wimmer and Erik Darnell added to Miller Lite Slinger Nationals

(Slinger, WI); June 28, 2007 -Scott Wimmer and Erik Darnell are two of the latest entries to join Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch to race in the 28th Annual Miller Lite Slinger Nationals.  Wimmer is one of the hottest drivers in the NASCAR Busch series recently finishing second at Milwaukee.  Wimmer will drive the family owned number 25 car.  Darnell also has been hot this summer, picking up his first NASCAR CTS win along with two ARCA wins.  Erik will be driving defending Slinger Speedway Track Champion and former Nationals winner David Prunty’s second car.  Erik say’s, “it’s going to be a lot of fun to get into David’s car, he is the one to beat at Slinger right now”.

Scott Wimmer and Erik Darnell join defending Slinger Nationals Champion Matt Kenseth as the list of talented drivers continues to build for this year’s event.  Always exciting Kyle Busch will be on the card along with former Slinger Nationals Champions, Dick Trick, Rich Bickle, David Prunty, Conrad Morgan, Lowell Bennett, Brad JJ Mueller, and Tony Strupp.

Advance general admission tickets for the July 17th Miller Lite Nationals are on sale now at the Slinger Speedway track office (262-644-5921), B&S Liquor in Hartford, Pioneer Plaza in Richfield or on line at: www.slingersuperspeedway.com. Fans can save $3.00 when they purchase Adult General Admission tickets in advance. The rain date is Wednesday July 18th.
