Close Points Battle for Slinger Championships in the weeks to come!

Special; Slinger, WI -  The battle for the championships at the Slinger Super Speedway is tightening up with only two remaining points nights left. After the Race of Champions held Sunday Night, the tables have turned in many of the divisions.

In the Late Models Brad Mueller fends for his second consecutive late model track championship with slim lead in the standings over Slinger Rookie Dave Feiler by only 60 points. Eric Fransen sits in third with a close 66 points behind Feiler.

Gary LaMonte leads the sportsman division by a slim 25 points over James Swan and a 59 points lead over third place Josh Bauer.

The racing action at the Speedway will be very competitive the next few weeks to ensure great fun for the whole family.

This Sunday night September 5 Port A John presents 100 lap late model feature and full racing program in the Midwest Modifieds, Midwest Sportsman, Street Stocks, Figure 8’s, Thunderstocks, Speedway Guest cars, Spectator races, and Slinger Bees. The evening will also include a huge ground and aerial fireworks display. In the case of inclement weather the rain date will be set for Labor Day, Monday September 6.

As an added bonus the first fans through the will receive a Port A John Super Sipper while supplies last. Port A John specializes in restrooms, sinks, and deluxe restroom trailers for backyard parties, weddings, or any other special event. For more information call Port A John at (262) 253-1400.

On September 12th the final points night, Eden Meat Market presents The Season Championships. The night will consist of a full racing program along with the Midwest Sportsman Championship Series. The Coca-Cola Kids club grand prize drawings will take place along with the speedway drawing fifteen adult tickets for Green Bay Packer jackets with the grand prize of tickets to an upcoming packer game.

Fans are encouraged to stop in at Eden Meat Market to pick up coupons for a dollar off an adult admission to any of the racing events in September.

The final event at the Speedway will take place on September 19 with the Spectator 200-lap Enduro and the 4-cylinder Compact Special 100-lap Enduro events will begin at 2 p.m.

Entries are being accepted for the Enduro Special at the track office. The starting line ups for both events are determined by the order in which the entry forms are received at the speedway.
