Free General Admission for Fans on Practice Day at Slinger Super Speedway! By Cortney Owen

Slinger, WI - April 22, 2003 -  On April 26, 2003 fans will have the opportunity to view representatives from all divisions of competition during the annual practice day at Slinger Super Speedway. General admission on practice day is free for all fans interested in watching the warm-up action. In order to prepare for the 2003 season the following divisions, Late Model, Eldorado Trailer Sales Midwest Modified, the new Midwest Sportsman, Team Cruisers, Slinger Bees and Figure 8’s, will each be given practice time on the World’s Fastest Quarter-Mile Paved Oval. Drivers will also be getting an early feel for the improvements made in October of 2002, when the track was resurfaced in all four corners in order to smooth the surface and create faster lap times.

The speedway’s Spring Opener, the Miller Lite Twin 75’s, will take place on Sunday afternoon, April 27, 2003. Tickets for the opener are now on sale at the speedway box office and at Pioneer Plaza in Richfield. Adult tickets will be available for $14 in advance and $16 on the day of the event. Student tickets for children ages 10-15 will be $8 and children ages 9 and under will receive free admission to each round when accompanied by an adult. Gates for the afternoon’s event open at 12 noon and the time trials will ! be held at 1:00pm with racing at 2:00pm.

The 2003 Miller Lite Twin 75’s Spring Opener is a special event and will kick off season-long, Sunday night action at Slinger Super Speedway. Nightly competition during the regular season schedule includes an event lineup of the Late Model, Eldorado Trailer Sales Midwest Modified, Midwest Sportsman, Figure 8, Team Cruisers and Slinger Bees. Slinger Super Speedway’s schedule runs from April 27, 2003 through September 21, 2003. Advertising and sponsorship opportunities with the speedway still exist for the 2003 season.
