Slinger Super Speedway Rained Out, but Looking Forward to Father’s Day Activities!

June 8, 2003; Slinger, WI - Due to threatening weather in the area, June 8th activities at Slinger Super Speedway were cancelled. The Enders Corporation & Design 2 Construct Miss Slinger Super Speedway pageant is rescheduled for Sunday night, June 22nd.

Fans are encouraged to plan their visit to the speedway this Sunday for a full night of racing and a wealth of Father’s Day activities. PPC the Professional Plumbers & Contractors will present the Father’s Day Special 65-lap Late Model feature and a full night of action in all eight divisions. In keeping with a well established tradition, Sunday night will also be the 2003 Scout Night at Slinger Super Speedway. All uniformed scouts and leaders will receive free admission to the speedway.

In addition to regular speedway activities, the Extreme Stunt Show will visit the high banks of Slinger Super Speedway on June 15th. The death defying show will provide fans with the opportunity to experience thrilling tricks including the car explosion/body burn, side by side steel wall crash & the high dive bomber crash.

Regular Sunday night racing action runs through September 21, 2003. In addition, Slinger Super Speedway will host the 24th Annual Miller Lite Nationals on Tuesday night, July 22nd. The show will feature NASCAR Winston Cup Series drivers Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch. Advance tickets are available for purchase by calling the speedway’s box office at 262.644.5921.
