Al Schill Jr. Memorial Points Opener this Sunday night
along with the debut of the New Slinger Bee’s!

April 29, 2002; Slinger, WI -- This Sunday Night May 5th, Al’s Auto Salvage, Champion Chicken, and Pro Power Engines present the Al Schill Jr. Memorial Points Night Opener. A 77 lap late model feature along with a complete program in the Midwest Modifieds, Slinger Stingers, Figure 8’s, Team Cruisers, Speedway Guest Cars, Spectator Races and the debut of the new 4-Cylindar Class called the Slinger Bee’s will highlight the night.

Kids 11 and under will receive free checkered flags as they enter the track while supplies last. Champion chicken will also be having giveaways throughout the night to kick off the official track point’s night. Gates open at 4:45 with time trials at 5:15 and racing at 7:00 p.m.

Interested drivers starting at the age of 14 can call the track office for rules and more information on the new Slinger Bee’s division at 262-644-5921. Competitors should be aware of changes in the new division including no twin cam engines and cars must have a four-point cage.

Date changes are also being made to the Slinger Schedule for the Slinger Bee’s division due the opener being rescheduled this division will run this week and also on May 12th at the Mobil / Coca-Cola Triple Crown Classic round one and then follow the normal schedule. Slinger has also set a date for The Miller Lite Opener to Wednesday July 3rd.
