Slinger Super Speedway awards banquet February 3rd!

January 27, 2001; Slinger, WI - Race fans of the Slinger Super Speedway are invited to attend the track's Annual Awards Banquet at the Washington County Fairgrounds Saturday February 3rd.

The festivities, honoring track champions in all divisions, begin with guest registration and a cash bar at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and the awards presentations to follow. Music and dancing will round out the evening's activities. Tickets to the 2000 Slinger Super Speedway Awards Banquet are available at the door for $19. Fans may also reserve tickets by calling
(414) 358-1525 before Wednesday, January 31st.

The Washington County Fairgrounds are located on Hwy 45 at the Pleasant Valley Road (Hwy PV) exit between Jackson and West Bend, approximately one half hour north of Milwaukee and one half hour south of Fond du Lac. The Fairgrounds are located about an hour south of the Fox Valley area. Slinger Speedway competitors will collect end of the year awards for the 2000 racing season and the track Champions will be honored for their accomplishments. 

The track Champions and many of the weekly competitors will be on hand with their cars to greet fans in attendance. Media coverage of the event will include special guests Jim Tretow of TNN and Tom Pippins from Fox 6 TV. Invites have been sent out to Drivers and Crew Members with Track Membership Cards and they are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible.
