Three GRAND
Prizes at Slinger Super Speedway!

April 15, 2000; Slinger, WI - This year Slinger Super Speedway will give away three big prizes,
including a grand prize of a sporty Sonoma step side 2000 GMC Truck. “More visits
more chances to win” One lucky fan or entry will have the chance to win this prize
during the season. Watch for the truck in your neighborhood, more information on this in
the months to follow.
Fans get in FREE on Saturday April 29th
as Slinger Super Speedway hosts it’s Annual Practice day from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM.
See the drivers as they test and tune for the opener, pick the drivers who you think will
take the checkered flags on Sunday. See first hand who will be the seasons leading
competitors and rookies. The pit area will open at 10:30 AM, with inspection and practice
sessions set to begin at 12:00 Noon. Competitors and fans entering the pit area will be
charged an admission fee.

drivers Scott Hansen and Butch Miller will be challenging six time track champion, Conrad
Morgan, MARS series champion Lowell Bennett, Al Schill in his new Monte Carlo, Cindy
Peterson and NASCAR truck series contender Brad “JJ” Mueller along with the
Midwest’s Best drivers on Sunday afternoon, April 30th at The Miller
Genuine Draft Twin 75’s Spring Opener. The Twin 75’s, a pair of 75 lap feature
Events for the Super Late Models, will highlight the racing action. In addition to the
Super Late Models you will notice many new driver division changes. The Midwest Modifies
and The Slinger Street Stock divisions will also compete as a part of the Miller Genuine
Draft opening day activities on the 30th.
Spectator Gates and Race Day ticket
sales are scheduled to open at 12:00 Noon on Sunday April 30th. The time trials
for all three divisions will get underway at 1:00 PM, with the racing action scheduled for
2:00 PM.
Advanced Adult tickets are now on sale at the Track Box Office, and at Pioneer Plaza, on Highway’s 41 & 45, in Richfield. Adults can save $2.00 if they purchase their general admission tickets on or before Saturday April 29th. Kids UNDER 10 attending the Spring Opener will be admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult.
