Super Speedway sets tentative
November 17, 2000; Slinger, WI - Race fans planning to attend the Slinger Super Speedway Awards Banquet should call (414) 358-1525 and reserve tickets to assure your seat. The banquet will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2001 at the Washington County Fairgrounds where the track champions from all divisions will have their cars on display. The night will begin with registration at 6:30pm followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, awards, and dancing. The Fairgrounds is located on Hwy 45 at the Pleasant Valley Road (Hwy PV) exit between Jackson and West Bend approximately 30 minutes north of Milwaukee, 30 minutes south of Fond du Lac and 60 minutes south of the Fox Valley. Slinger Speedway competitors will collect end of the year awards for the 2000 racing season and will honor this years track Champions and driver accomplishments from the 2000 racing season. Drivers and Crew Members who purchased Track Membership Cards will be sent RSVP Invitations as the respective gala affairs draws nearer.
If you enjoyed your season pass benefits last year, well why not enjoy it again this year? Slinger Super Speedway will give you the chance every regular Sunday to catch the racing action. The Season Pass is not valid for the Season Opener. The season pass will include the Rusty Wallace Special in June, which will give you the opportunity to spend the nights events with Rusty in the VIP Pavilion area with catering provided. You will also receive $4.00 off your Nationals ticket tentatively set for July, with your season pass. This is a great opportunity to give that racing fan or fans a holiday gift you know they will enjoy for only $170. / pass for an adult. The new 2001 racing season will be starting off with the practice day of Saturday, April 21. Gates will open at 12noon, and admission will be free for all spectators to enjoy. On Sunday afternoon, April 22, Slinger will host the Miller Genuine Draft twin Season Opener to kick off the new season. The 2001 racing season rules for all divisions may be obtained by sending $5.00 to Slinger Speedway 1639 Hwy 83 S. Hartford, WI 53027 after December 15th.
