Rain forces Slinger race to Monday July 3rd!

July 2, 2000; Slinger, WI - The Wolf Paving & MGS Enterprises Firecracker 2000 - which will have an 85 lap Late Model feature and fireworks extravaganza that was scheduled for tonight,
The Sunday July 2nd program  is postponed to Monday July 3rd due to Inclement weather.

Spectator gates for the Wolf Paving & MGS Enterprises Firecracker 2000 will open up at 4:45 PM, with time trials at 5:15 PM and racing to follow at 7 PM, and will include the huge fireworks display on Monday July 3rd. If it would be rained out on Monday we will run it on Tuesday July 4th along with one of the states largest fireworks display.

Mobil presents Round Two of the Coca-Cola
Triple Crown Classic at the Slinger Super Speedway

Special; Slinger, WI - Mobil presents Round 2 of the Coca-Cola Triple Crown Classic at the Slinger Super Speedway. The evening, will be highlighted by a 60 lap late model feature and full racing program in the Late Models, Midwest Modifieds, Slinger Stingers Street Stocks, Figure 8's, Team Cruisers, Speedway Guest Cars, and the Spectator Races divisions.

Round 2 of the Coca-Cola Triple Crown Classic, is one of the series of three events scheduled throughout the year for late model drivers. Plus, NASCAR Remax Star Brian Hoppie will be challenging Slingers best drivers as he gets ready for the Bumper to Bumper night at Slinger Super
Speedway. Spectator gates open at 4:45 p.m. with time trials at 5:15 p.m. and racing set to begin at 7 p.m.

Fans will receive a FREE ticket with any four liter bottles of Coca Cola purchased at participating Mobil Stations for the July 9th event, while supplies last, and kids 12 and under in attendance are eligible to participate in the Coca-Cola 500 Big Wheel races  and will also be eligible for a drawing for a free bicycle to be given away at intermission at the Speedway.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Pioneer Plaza Mid-Season championships Sunday night July 16th with a 65 lap late model feature and a huge demolition derby.  Drivers interested in participating in the demo derby can pick up a copy of the rules and regulations  at  the Slinger

Slinger Super Speedway is also stepping up on there giveaways for the new Millennium. Three grand prizes this season including a T.V., Trip to Vegas, and the big prize of a Sporty Sonoma step side 2000 GMC truck located by the main entrance of the track. For all race fans that purchase a ticket for the races we keep the one half and put it into a hopper and then at the end of the season we draw the winner the winner must have their ticket stub to win, so hold onto your regular season ticket stubs for the drawing of the truck on September 17th. Miller Lite Nationals Tickets Now on Sale
at Slinger Super Speedway!!!

Special; Slinger, WI - Advanced tickets are now on sale for the 2000 Miller Lite Nationals at the Slinger Super Speedway. The July 30th Special will feature two 100 lap main events for the Late Model division, along with support divisions racing to round out the show. Tickets are available at the Slinger Speedway track office or at Pioneer Plaza, located at Highways 41& 145 in Richfield. Fans can save $3.00 when they purchase tickets in advance for the Miller Lite Nationals before Saturday, July 29th at 4pm.

The Summer Special will be highlighted by the return of Wisconsin Rapids Native Dick Trickle who is scheduled drive in the 21st year history of the Miller Lite Nationals. NASCAR stars joining Trickle include Matt Kenseth, Rich Bickle, Ken Schrader and Jason Schuler at the worlds fastest 1/4 mile oval. Other top stars include defending champion Conrad Morgan, Al Schill, Lowell Bennett, Brad "JJ" Mueller, Cindy Peterson, David Prunty plus many, many more rising stars.

The afternoon will get under way with spectator gates opening at 3:00 pm. Qualifying racing kicks off at 5:30pm and will be followed by the Twin 100 lap Late Model features. Fans will also be treated to an autograph session with the NASCAR stars. Look for more information on this night in the weeks to come.

Kids, ages 9 & under, will be admitted free for the Sunday event July 30th Miller Lite Nationals. If inclement weather occurs the program will be run on Monday July 31st. Fans in attendance also will be entered into the season long give-a-ways where a new truck, T.V., and a Trip to Vegas, will be
awarded later in the season. The Slinger Super Speedway is located off of Hwy 41 at Highway 144 and Cty. AA in Slinger.
